7th CPC Pay is almost most same even after getting MACP

Pay in 7th CPC is almost most same even after getting MACP

If an employee is upgraded under MACP from one level to another level, his pay will be almost (Exactly) same as he may have drawn even without receiving the benefit under MAC

NFIR has raised an important anomaly regarding MACP Benefit that there was No promotion benefit rather than giving one additional increment on account of Pay Fixation on Promotion.

After the implementation of sixth pay Commission, at least it was assured that 3% of basic pay and difference of Grade Pay would be added in the basic pay on Promotion.

But now in 7th CPC , NFIR has thrown the light on the issue that in Most of the Cases if an employee is upgraded under MACP from one level to another level, his pay will be almost (Exactly) same as he may have drawn even without receiving the benefit under MACP .

Merely one increment is given as the Benefit of Promotion after successfully overcome many hurdles like Minimum Qualifying Years, DPC Criteria, MACP Benchmark etc.
