Tamil Nadu Govt Announces Festival Bonus for its Employees

Tamil Nadu Govt Announces Festival Bonus – Group C and Group D government employees as well as teachers will get bonus up to Rs 3,000.

The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday announced the annual Pongal bonus for its employees, teachers, pensioners and family pensioners.

Group C and Group D government employees as well as teachers will get bonus up to Rs 3,000.

Group A and B employees and those who have completed service of more than 240 days including Anganwadi workers and labourers would get a special bonus of Rs 1,000. Pensioners and family pensioners will get Rs 500 as bonus.

In a statement, chief minister J Jayalalithaa said, ”Totally, Rs 326.85 crore will be spent on distributing bonus for government employees and others.”
