In Pension Ready Reckoners, in Table 32, for 4th CPC pay of Rs. 7300, 7500, 7750, and 8000, the notional pay under 7th CPC has been shown at Rs. 199,000. This appears to be incorrect. Under Central Civil Services (Revised pay) Rules, 2016,if the mininum or the first cell in the applicable Level is more than the amount arrived at by multiplying the existing basic pay by a factor of 2.57, the pay shall be fixed at the minimum pay or the first cell of the applicable Level. In Level 16, the minimum pay or the first cell is of Rs. 205400. Accordingly the notional pay under 7th CPC will be Rs. 205400 and pension amount will be Rs. 102,700.
