Naidu hardsells A.P. tourism

September 17, 2015 By govtstaffnews.in Leave a Comment

Releasing the State Government’s Tourism Policy on Monday, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu turned hard salesman, positioning Andhra Pradesh among the frontline tourist destinations in the country.

Listing the many tourist attractions of the state – rivers, sea coast, Buddhist sites, temples – Mr. Naidu stated that Andhra Pradesh’s Konaseema could rival Kerala and Goa in terms of scenic locales, and Rajasthan would be put in the shade by its historical places, particularly its Buddhist sites.

“The green expanse of Papikondalu gives you picture postcard view. A trip to Papikondalu will be an unforgettable experience. The State is dotted with many such places,”” said Mr Naidu. As for rivers islands, no state would be able to match AP, he said.
