Sub: Railways unconstitutional order dated 30.01.2017

On the invitation of Director General (Personnel), both the Federations (NFIR & AIRF) held discussions in the Railway Board relating to the instructions of Railway Board letter dated 30.01.2017. The Railway Board was of the view that more time is required to have detailed discussions with the Federations to sort out the issue.

In the meantime, the Railway Board has decided to amend Para 5 of the fetter dated 30.01.2017 that the date mentioned therein as 31 March 2017, may be read as 30 June 2017.

President/NFIR, Shri Guman Singh and Jt. Gen. Secretary, Shri B.C. Sharma took part in the discussions.

However the agitation, as advised earlier shall stand till further advice.
