NOTIFICATION
Draft of the Karnataka Civil Services (Revised Pay 2012) (Amendment) Rules 2015, which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 read with Section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) is hereby published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after 15 days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette;
Any objection and suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft, before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the Government;
Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore-560001.
DRAFT RULES
1. Short title and commencement:– (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Civil Services (Revised Pay 2012) (Amendment) Rules 2015.
(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force from the first day of April 2012.
2. Amendment of Rule 4:- After sub-rule (4) of Rule 4 of the Karnataka Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), the following sub-rule shall be inserted namely:-
“(5) The revised scales of pay of the posts specified in the Fifth Schedule w.e.f. 01.04.2012 shall be those specified against the corresponding existing scales of pay of the said posts”
3. Insertion of new Fifth Schedule:- After Fourth Schedule to the said rules the following shall be inserted as Fifth Schedule namely:-
