Sack Non Performing Employees – Withhold their Pension – PM – PM Modi also looked into the grievances of the people related to the customs and excise sector and thereby asked to take action against the concerned officials.

Prime Minister Narendra Mod, has delivered a stern message among those government employees who are yet to correct their professional conduct despite ‘repeated warnings’.

This message came down to the non-performers from the PM at the monthly interaction with central government secretaries and chief secretaries of states through Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation (PRAGATI). PM Modi during the meet asked the secretaries to keep a check on the employees who are ignorant towards their duties and that take action against them which includes removal from their service and also withhold their of pension.

Along with this, PM Modi asked all the secretaries of those departments which deal with the public extensively and that set up a system to monitor the grievances and plight of the people immediately.

PM Modi also looked into the grievances of the people related to the customs and excise sector and thereby asked to take action against the concerned officials. Apart from this, PM Modi also held a meeting with the council of ministers and looked into the progress on the schemes and along with this asked the ministries to speed up the initiatives of the government.
