Union Cabinet likely to consider the DA hike Proposal today

September 19, 2015 By govtstaffnews.in Leave a Comment

The Cabinet is likely to take up a proposal to increase the rate of dearness allowance from 113 per cent to 119 per cent today. Last week on 2nd September, it was told that Government would announce DA hike which is due from 1st July 2015. It was not announced as expected.

Now the Sources told that the proposal for increasing Dearness Allowance from July 2015 will be considered in the Cabinet Meeting to be held today. According to the sources the proposal to increase dearness allowance by six percentage from the existing 113 % to 119% is likely to be taken up by the Cabinet today

More than one crore government employees and pensioners will be benefitted by this proposal if approved by Cabinet.

It will be a soothing news for central government employees if DA hike is announced today. Because the Central Government employees were little bit upset with government’s decision of extending the term of 7th pay commission up to 31st December 2015.
