When will the Notification for Implementation of 7th Pay Commission Recommendation be issued ?
Rumor mill is doing the round that notification of implementation of 7th Pay Commission will be issued on 21st may 2016. Unfortunately, there is no proper authentication for this rumor to say it is true.
Already the empowered committee of secretaries which is constituted to deal with issues related to the 7th cpc Recommendation asked NCJCM , it needs sufficient time to review the Recommendation. Further it has told in the meeting held on first march 2016 that it has to consult many stake holders to decide the issues raised by NCJCM staff side. Hence it is quite obvious that the empowered committee will take not less than 4 months’ time to meet the ministries and other stake holders to discuss the issues.
It is not known that NCJCM staffside will be invited to inform about the decision taken by the committee before sending it to the Cabinet Committee of Ministers. NCJCM staffside is also in little bit confusion whether they will be called for the final meeting or not.
Cabinet committee also may take some time to approve the recommendation of 7th pay commission after it has been reviewed by the empowered committee. The sources close to the finance ministry told that the notification for implementation of 7th pay commission will be issued by the end of August 2016.
